Netflix and Disney Actor Tony Germano Dies at 55 After Fatal Fall During Home Renovation
Veteran Brazilian actor and voice artist Tony Germano, whose work graced numerous international productions including titles for Netflix and Disney, has died at the age of fifty-five following a tragic accident at his home in São Paulo. The actor’s representative confirmed that Mr. Germano suffered a fatal fall from the roof of his residence on the morning of Wednesday, November 26, 2025, while he was reportedly inspecting the progress of ongoing renovations at the property. Emergency services confirmed his death shortly after the incident.
In a statement confirming the passing, the actor’s representatives conveyed deep sorrow, stating that Mr. Germano “suffered a fall at his residence and, unfortunately, did not survive his injuries.” The statement further highlighted his career, noting that he leaves behind a legacy of “dedication, generosity and immense talent that touched everyone who had the privilege of working with him.” The late actor’s memorial and burial were held on Thursday at the Bosque da Paz Cemetery in Vargem Grande Paulista, attended by devastated friends, family, and colleagues from the Brazilian arts community.
Mr. Germano was a respected figure with a career spanning three decades in theater, film, and voice acting. He was particularly known to younger audiences in Brazil for his Portuguese-language voice performances in popular children’s programming, including the Netflix series Go, Dog, Go! and Nickelodeon’s Nicky, Ricky, Dicky & Dawn. Additionally, he contributed his vocal talents to the localized version of Disney’s 2017 live-action Beauty and the Beast, as well as animated shows like Elena of Avalor and The Muppets.
