Mia Goth Files for Divorce From Shia LaBeouf After 10 Years

Actress Mia Goth officially filed for divorce from actor Shia LaBeouf on Tuesday in Los Angeles, bringing a formal end to their decade-long relationship. According to court documents filed in the Superior Court of California, the Pearl star cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for the dissolution of marriage and listed July 28, 2025, as the couple’s official date of separation.

The filing formalizes their romantic split more than a year after the pair quietly separated. According to an official news report published by HOLAMundo, Goth requested primary physical and legal custody of their four-year-old daughter, Isabel, while asking the court to terminate its authority to award spousal support to either party.

The couple’s turbulent relationship began in 2012 when they met on the set of Lars von Trier’s film Nymphomaniac: Vol. II. They wed in an impromptu Las Vegas ceremony in October 2016 before experiencing a public separation in 2018, during which both briefly dated other partners.

Goth and LaBeouf reconciled in 2020 and subsequently welcomed their daughter in March 2022. Following their private separation last year, LaBeouf relocated to New Orleans, where he was involved in a high-profile Mardi Gras incident earlier this year that resulted in misdemeanor battery charges.

The divorce filing coincides with ongoing legal developments surrounding LaBeouf’s past relationships and personal conduct. On the same day Goth submitted court paperwork in Los Angeles, legal representatives confirmed that LaBeouf reached a settlement with former partner and musician FKA twigs regarding non-disclosure agreement disputes linked to her prior civil battery lawsuit.

Goth, whose career has expanded with major horror and drama roles including Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, has not issued a public statement outside of the formal court submissions. Legal counsel for LaBeouf has similarly refrained from commenting as court schedules are set to address custody parameters in the coming months.
