Lime Parent Neutron Holdings Files for Nasdaq IPO
Lime IPO Nasdaq
Neutron Holdings, Inc., the parent company of the electric bike and scooter rental platform Lime, has officially moved forward with its initial public offering on the Nasdaq Global Select Market. The company, which operates in over 230 cities globally, filed its registration statement on June 22, 2026, setting a price range between $24 and $26 per share. Through this offering of approximately 6.7 million shares, Lime aims to raise up to $180.9 million, a strategic move intended to provide capital for general corporate purposes and the repayment of a $115 million senior secured term loan.
The IPO comes as Lime demonstrates significant operational growth, reporting $886.7 million in revenue for 2025—a notable increase from the $686.6 million generated the previous year. Despite facing competitive pressures within the micromobility sector, the company has maintained its market presence through a deep-rooted partnership with Uber Technologies Inc. Uber, which currently holds a 24.4% stake in the firm, has signaled its continued commitment by indicating an interest in purchasing up to $20 million worth of stock in the offering.
This offering is viewed as a critical step for Lime as it navigates a challenging debt environment, with nearly $675 million in liabilities due by the end of 2026. By leveraging the credibility of its anchor investor and its established integration within the Uber app—which accounts for a significant portion of its total revenue—Lime aims to stabilize its financial trajectory. As the company moves through its roadshow, investors are focused on its ability to transition from high-growth capital consumption to sustainable long-term profitability within the global urban transportation market.
