Ariana Grande Withdraws from ‘American Horror Story’ Season 13
Pop superstar Ariana Grande will no longer be making her franchise debut in the highly anticipated thirteenth season of the FX horror anthology, American Horror Story. Sources confirmed that the singer and actress has stepped away from the project due to irreconcilable scheduling conflicts between production dates and her ongoing “Eternal Sunshine” concert tour.

Industry insiders report that Grande did not shoot any scenes for the upcoming season, which has been filming on location in New York City. Grande, who previously collaborated with series creator Ryan Murphy on the 2015 series Scream Queens, had previously teased her involvement in the project, noting that she was grateful for the opportunity to join the ensemble, even for a minor role.

Despite Grande’s departure, the star-studded lineup for the season—appropriately titled 13—remains intact. The series is set to feature a massive return of franchise favorites, including Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Evan Peters, Angela Bassett, Kathy Bates, and Emma Roberts.

Production teases have confirmed that the upcoming installment will revisit iconic elements from the series’ history, including a return to the Robichaux Academy, the setting of the popular Coven season. American Horror Story Season 13 is scheduled to premiere on FX and Hulu on September 24, 2026.
