‘Poco Lee Didn’t Do Anything’ – Mr Real Speaks on Alleged Rape Case
Nigerian singer Mr Real has spoken in defence of dancer and entertainer Poco Lee following reports of an alleged rape case involving the entertainer in the United Kingdom.
Mr Real said he was convinced that Poco Lee did not commit the alleged offence, drawing from what he described as his own experience with a similar allegation while in the UK.
The singer reportedly said he could tell “100%” that Poco Lee did not do anything wrong. He explained that he had previously found himself in a situation where a woman allegedly accused him of sexual misconduct.
According to Mr Real, his personal experience made him understand the situation surrounding Poco Lee’s case and strengthened his belief that the allegations against his colleague may not be true. Reports about his comments also said he recounted an incident in which he allegedly paid £5,000 to a woman following the situation.
His comments came after reports that Poco Lee had been arrested in London in connection with an alleged rape case. The allegation has not been established in court, and the circumstances surrounding the reported arrest remain subject to the ongoing legal process.
The controversy intensified after rapper Ms Jorji publicly alleged that Poco Lee had attempted to sexually assault her and her girlfriend about two years ago. Poco Lee has not been convicted of the allegation.
