The Venezuelan government has announced plans for a large-scale deployment of military forces amid growing tensions with the United States, warning that the nation is ready to defend its sovereignty against any potential aggression. President Nicolás Maduro confirmed that the armed forces have been placed on high alert, with troop mobilizations and defense exercises already underway across several strategic regions.
Speaking during a national broadcast, Maduro accused Washington of orchestrating “provocations and destabilization efforts” aimed at undermining Venezuela’s security and independence.
