According to officials, the consulates in New York, Atlanta, and Washington, D.C., will implement measures aimed at speeding up passport production, expanding appointment availability, and improving response times for inquiries. Special attention will be given to streamlining visa applications and providing faster turnaround for those with emergency cases.
Diaspora engagement will also be prioritized, with the missions set to hold regular forums where Nigerians can voice concerns, offer suggestions, and receive updates on consular services.
