Why He Pulled Back Before In May 2024, during an Instagram Live session, Burna Boy explained that he deliberately delayed fatherhood due to his demanding lifestyle. He emphasized:
“I don’t want to have kids yet… until I’m settled and can be there for them every day.
He cited concerns about providing the same love and stability he received from his parents and dismissed unfounded rumors about his fertility. He highlighted that speculation about impotency was baseless and even joked about IVF as a hypothetical alternative.
What Has Changed Now, a year later and years into his international success, Burna Boy says his mindset has evolved. He expressed readiness to start a family, signaling a major personal milestone. However, he clarified in a recent BBC Radio 1Xtra interview that the demanding life of touring and constant travel still makes it difficult to balance starting a family right away:
