Arsenal Crowned 2025/26 Premier League Champions

Arsenal Premier League title 2026

The wait is finally over. Arsenal have been officially crowned champions of the 2025/26 Premier League season, securing their 14th top-flight title after a dramatic 1-1 draw between Manchester City and AFC Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium this Tuesday.

The result leaves Manchester City four points behind the Gunners with only one match remaining, making it mathematically impossible for the Citizens to close the gap at the top of the table.

For Mikel Arteta, the triumph marks the culmination of a six-season project and ends a 22-year drought for the North London club, which had not hoisted the Premier League trophy since Arsène Wenger’s legendary “Invincibles” campaign in 2003/04. Having finished as runners-up in each of the previous three seasons, the Gunners finally climbed back to the pinnacle of English football.

The title success follows a resilient campaign in which Arsenal won 25 of their 37 matches, underpinned by a league-best defensive record that saw goalkeeper David Raya claim his third consecutive Golden Glove award.

The title-clinching moment came as a result of Arsenal’s own 1-0 victory against Burnley on Monday, which put the pressure firmly on Pep Guardiola’s side. Knowing only a win would keep the race alive until the final day, Manchester City struggled against a resilient Bournemouth squad.

Despite Erling Haaland netting a late equalizer in the fifth minute of stoppage time, the single point earned was insufficient to derail Arsenal’s march to glory.
Arsenal’s historic achievement reflects a remarkable turnaround after a challenging April, during which the team saw a nine-point lead nearly evaporate following a loss at the Etihad.

However, the squad responded with four consecutive clean-sheet victories to regain control of their destiny. With this championship secured, the club now turns its attention to capping off a legendary season, as they prepare to face Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League final on May 30, aiming for a prestigious and historic double.
