
President Tinubu Accepts Resignation of Geoffrey Nnaji as Minister
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has officially accepted the resignation of Geoffrey Nnaji from his position as Minister of Innovation, Science, and Technology. The announcement was made on Wednesday following Nnaji’s formal submission of his resignation letter to the President.
According to a statement from the Presidency, President Tinubu expressed appreciation for Nnaji’s service to the nation and commended his contributions to advancing Nigeria’s technological and innovation sectors during his tenure. The President also wished him success in his future endeavors.
Nnaji’s resignation comes amid ongoing administrative reshuffles aimed at strengthening the Federal Executive Council’s performance and aligning it with the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda. The reasons for his resignation have not been officially disclosed.
The Presidency noted that a replacement will be announced soon, as the government remains committed to ensuring stability and continuity within the ministry.
