Brandon Clarke’s Fiancée Honors Late NBA Star
Brandon Clarke fiancée Amber Lorraine tribute
Amber Lorraine, the fiancée of late Memphis Grizzlies forward Brandon Clarke, has broken her silence following the athlete’s sudden passing last week. In an emotional Instagram post shared on Sunday, Lorraine paid tribute to the life they were building together, revealing that the couple was actively preparing for their upcoming wedding.

Accompanied by a series of photos and a video clip of Clarke proposing, Lorraine described the day of the engagement as the “happiest day of her life” and expressed the profound difficulty of navigating a future without her partner.
In her message, Lorraine honored Clarke as her soulmate, praising him as an incredibly talented and deeply caring individual. She shared intimate details of their life together, including their shared love for watching Harry Potter, cooking his favorite breakfast meals, and dreaming of a future life in a home surrounded by a garden and animals.
She highlighted his kindness and the joy he brought to those around him, concluding her tribute with a heartfelt request for him to continue watching over her.
Brandon Clarke died on May 11, 2026, in the San Fernando Valley at the age of 29. Law enforcement officials responded to a medical emergency at a home in the area, where he was pronounced dead on the scene.
While an official cause of death has not been finalized, sources indicate that the incident is being investigated as a potential overdose, as emergency responders reportedly discovered drug paraphernalia at the residence.
Clarke, a seven-year NBA veteran, had spent his entire professional career with the Memphis Grizzlies after being selected in the first round of the 2019 NBA Draft. Known for his grit and positive impact on the Memphis community, he was remembered by his team and the NBA league office as a beloved teammate and a “gentlest soul.”
The news of his passing prompted an outpouring of condolences from the basketball community, including NBA Commissioner Adam Silver, who noted that Clarke’s leadership and passion left a lasting mark on the organization.
