
Yahaya praises Nigerian women’s basketball team for their dedication and national pride
Governor Dikko Radda of Katsina State has congratulated Nigeria’s women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, following their outstanding victory at the 2025 FIBA Women’s AfroBasket Championship.
Fifth Straight Championship Title
D’Tigress made history by clinching their fifth consecutive AfroBasket title, defeating Senegal in the final with a commanding performance. The victory solidifies their dominance in African women’s basketball and continues a streak that began in 2017.
